Kodi & Add-on Domains

  • Installing Kodi itself is perfectly legal, but the legality of specific add-ons depends on the content they provide. Some third-party add-ons easily access copyrighted material without authorization, which should not be your intent. Kodi is basically a media player for viewing and safely managing personal media. However, the legality of some Kodi add-on varies. Some add-ons provide access to content that is copyrighted, while others may offer content that is in the public domain or not subject to copyright.

  • Various add-ons may be illegal to use without proper authorization. Still others offer Public Domain content that is free to use, such as classic films or educational material. Though Kodi is free, it is versatile, powerful and can be further enhanced by many free add-ons. It is the users responsibility to research add-ons they install and be cautious and informed about the sources of content they access.

  • Using add-ons that access unauthorized content that should be paid for can lead to legal issues, depending on local copyright laws.

    Legal Kodi

  • To determine which movies are legally free to watch on Kodi, users should use official Kodi add-ons that provide a wide range of TV shows and movies that are 100% legal to stream. They should also use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to help protect user privacy and also allows access to content that may be restricted in their region. By following these steps, users can enjoy a legal and safe streaming experience on Kodi.

Android

Internet Protocol TV (IPTV} Devices

  • These Android devices are legal. Consequently, JamesTV includes them in our area of supported products. They tend to be more expensive due to their "no subscriptions necessary" model.

  • Customization is limited on these devices and no other charges or fees are required for any of the networks and popular streaming apps that they provide. Basic setup is straight forward and the JamesTV network for remote support can be setup on these devices. As usual, our Maintenance Service Plans are available to smooth your learning curve, accelerate your understanding of these types of "executive level" devices
